Laytown United – November 2021

It was a very special day for our u8s and u12s when they got to play on the pitch at Drogheda United F.C during the Drogs penultimate home game of the season against Derry City. This is a huge privilege for any young player but even more so now, due to the fact that the Half time games had been stopped due to Covid restrictions. There was a beautiful moment during the break when Dayne, Alex and Heidi Conroy presented Drogheda United F.C with a flag in honour of their Dad Dave. As a club we are very grateful for the support and kindness shown to us by Drogheda United F.C and their amazing fans over the past two months.

We were delighted to be able to complete our Football camp, which had been postponed during the summer due to bad weather. But this time around we were blessed with a beautiful Autumn Day, and thanks to our coaches for giving up their own Bank Holiday Monday, 50 excited players got to have an action packed day of football fun, finished off with a Bbq and a goodie bag.
