The members of Castlehill RC were recently able to have an outdoor gathering for the club’s AGM at Sage and Stone, and spirits were high given the festive season!
The club committee commemorated another fantastic year for the club, even with Covid-19 protocols and restrictions disrupting shows throughout 2021.
The club’s training committee organised a great year of coaching, and no doubt the experience will stand to our members when competing in 2022.
A new committee was elected by members and is as follows:
Chairperson – Lindsey ilona Brady
Vice Chairperson – Olivia Nolan
Secretary – Wayne Carruthers
Treasurer – Kate Hucheson
PRO/Safety Officer – Sarah McNulty Malone
The club also presented the “Castlehill RC Leading Rider Awards” in dressage and jumping. Results were recorded throughout the year across all regional shows and across all grades, and points were allocated depending on placings/attendance. Well done to those who performed so well!
Dressage
1st – Lindsey ilona Brady (45 points)
2nd – Klara Ralph O’Connor (32 points)
3rd – Diane Ford (14 points)
Jumping
1st – Susan O’Connor (28 points)
2nd – Sarah McNulty Malone (23 points)
3rd – Niamh Murphy (23 points)
The club committee also organised a raffle for attendees, where brilliant club merchandise was up for grabs. Well done to all who took home a prize!
