Welcome to 2022! It’s all onwards and upwards from here! The best thing you could do for your health both physical and mental this year would be to join a running club. Here at Cilles AC we have a group to suit all ages and abilities, meet liked minded folks, enjoy a run and hopefully we get to have a few races this year and celebrate together afterwards. Couch to 5k graduates of 2021
We’ve had a boisterous group of 30 plus runners taking part in our latest couch to 5k. They reached their milestone of 5k on the 14th of Dec and decided to take on the Drogheda & District Christmas 5k as their graduation race. They were well supported by a bumper number of runners from club in a race that has become an annual tradition for the Cilles AC runners.

Navan relays Nov 21
Our Little Cilles and Junior groups were well represented in the relays at the Navan adventure centre this morning. It was bitterly cold but that didn’t dampen the spirits, everyone ran with great enthusiasm and enjoyed the experience. Well done Adam, Adewole, Daithi and Aaron on the junior boys team, this was Adewole and Aaron’s first outing. Abigail, Annabel, Raicheal and Katie representing the girls junior team put in a fine performance. Our wonderful u10 girls lining up for the first race of the day ran a gutsy race, well done Molly, Alannah, Lara and Eliza.
