Club news
We have had a busy month of training in the glorious weather and playing lots of friendly matches to get match fit and ready for the new season which we cannot wait for. We are delighted to announce a new u8 boys team which have graduated from the academy and our girls have graduated from our academy and onto a new girls team, our club is growing every year which is amazing. Our academy is going from strength to strength which we are delighted about, ensuring lots of budding footballers for future teams.
MGL girls
Our coaches Simon,Derek,Sharon,Andrea,Caoimhe, Tracy and Orla have been busy working with our girls over the last few weeks in sorting out age groups for our upcoming leagues in August.
We have around 40 girls now all qualified from our Academy run by Ali and Darren and it’s great too see such a volume of girls wanting too play football and enjoying it too. Our coaches have organised friendlies for our different age groups and great too see them all back on the football pitches and learning and having fun.
