Double gold at Meath Cross country
We’ve had a very busy October, loads of our athletes were running their hearts out at the Meath Cross Country Championships in Navan. For many it was their first time running competitively, well done to everyone who took part. Special congratulations go to Aaron Smith who claimed gold in the junior category for the third year running, fabulous achievement Aaron. Jack Daly also took U17 gold in dramatic fashion in a sprint finish, he’ll go on to represent Meath in the Leinsters. He also helped his team to silver along with Daniel Black and Aaron O’Brien. Aaron Smith was back in action on the 17th and finished in 3rd place at the Autumn International Cross Country junior race in Abbotstown, in what was a challenging atmosphere as junior and senior competitors run in the same race.
Couch to 5k
Couch to 5k is in it’s 5th week and the 30 strong gang that have joined up are smashing it!! Well done everyone!!
Juvenile training/Waiting list update
We’ve offered all the new places we can for this year and will start making offers again later in January.
Senior training
We have a training group to suit all levels, we’re meeting at the usual spot in the Tescos carpark, Bettystown, 7.30pm Tues/Thurs, new members always welcome.
